Buy Australia: FREE business listing marketplace for you

Buy Australia: FREE business listing marketplace for you

If you’re an Australian-owned business ๐Ÿฆ˜, then you NEED to know about Buy Australia. We officially launched this new online marketplace ๐Ÿ›’for our client last week. Any business that’s ๐Ÿ’ฏAustralian-owned can register their product or service offering for FREE within a range of categories including fashion, real estate, homewares, pets, produce, beauty, fashion, jewellery, events and experiences (+more). If you don’t see a category for you, drop us a line and we’ll get you up and running in no time.

Our challenge was to get this website up and running within 5 business days, which we delivered upon. Our next challenge is to create the strategy (and implement it) to make this marketplace grow both locally with Aussie businesses and globally with audiences.

We encourage you to list your business and also share this site with your friends, connections and associates to help make this fly. We are in this together and this marketplace is one small step towards supporting ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บAustralian businesses and reinvigorating ๐Ÿ›๏ธ the Australian manufacturing industry.

Insta picks up its desktop game and IG live soars

Insta picks up its desktop game and IG Live soars

As an agency dealing with multiple Insta accounts daily, the challenge of the DM on a smartphone is a killer. Little button + fatter fingers = slow, error-filled messages! Thankfully, Insta has delivered on their promise ๐ŸŽ‰and DMs are now available through your desktop (phew! ๐Ÿ˜…).

To find your feature, head to your home feed on Instagram’s website and tap the DM button at the top of your screen (note: if you don’t see the button, you probably don’t have access to the feature yet!). ๐Ÿ‘

From here, you can view your whole inbox, start 1:1 messages and group chats, send photos (but not capture them), double-click to like messages, and more.

You can also share posts, Instagram Stories, and IGTV videos as a direct message. Just tap the DM button below the post or story you’d like to share.

With such a huge increase in IG Live throughout COVID-19 and isolation ๐Ÿ˜ท, now is the time to find your comfort zone on Insta. Master the mobile handset and then manage your profile on desktop for ease. Simples.

Banter Group Newsletter Google shopping ads are free

Banter Group Newsletter Google shopping ads are free

It’s a no-brainer: Google Shopping Ads Are FREE

Google is jumping on the FREE bandwagon during COVID-19, by offering its Shopping Ads free of charge. Understanding our new digital behaviours, Google are making sure they can take a large chunk of the e-commerce pie. It’s open to the US from now, and they plan on expanding globally before the end of the year.

Search results on the Google Shopping ๐Ÿ›๏ธ tab will consist primarily of free listings, helping merchants better connect with consumers, regardless of whether they advertise on Google. With hundreds of millions of shopping searches ๐Ÿ”Ž on Google each day, we know that many retailers have the items people need in stock and ready to ship, but are less discoverable online.

For retailers, you get free exposure to millions of people who come to Google every day for their shopping needs.

For shoppers, it means more products from more stores, discoverable through the Google Shopping tab โœ‹.

WIN-WIN ๐Ÿ˜ƒ.
