For about 7️⃣ years now I’ve been saying the same thing over and over – don’t put all your 🥚🥚 in your Facebook basket. If you put all your data, your audiences and your only reach into the 👐 of Facebook, and they change the game, you’ll be left stranded. What happened recently with disappearing newsfeeds can easily happen again. The question is, will you be prepared this time? People WILL pay 💰 for what they value, keep that in mind. Amazing Business Grants to help you right now
I’m becoming aware of more grants available to businesses and you need to know about these as they can help your business. Check these out and share them 📣📣📣 with others, there’s a lot of help out there and we need businesses to find out about them.
The Business Events Grants program will empower the business events sector which, due to COVID-19 😷, has seen the 100% cancellation of events contributing to a near 100% loss of revenue 📉 . This will support Australian businesses by providing grants between $10,000 and $250,000 and will cover up to 50% of costs incurred in participating at pre-approved B2B events as buyers or sellers during the 2021 calendar year.
NSW Tourism Product Development Fund is dishing out the big bucks 💰for regional tourism operators – this is so easy to get your hands on, get into it!
Stream 1 – Refresh and Renew Fund offering $10,000 grants to regional tourism operators to update their product or experience.
Stream 2 – Experience Enhancement Fund offering between $50,000 and $150,000 in matched funding to assist operators to upgrade existing accommodation to improve their ⭐ rating, upgrade business and leisure event venues and facilities, repurpose existing infrastructure to provide new facilities or experiences not currently available within the destination, or to create new tourism attractions or experiences.
Regional Business Event Development Fund up to $30,000 to create, attract and support business events for regional NSW, and to motivate business event owners to incorporate regional NSW in their plans.
Insta tests removing feed sharing to Stories
Instagram is now conducting a test that is 🛑 stopping 🛑 some users from sharing feed posts within their Stories. This means you can now share tweets in your IG Stories, but you can’t share Instagram posts, while you can also share IGTV previews, but not normal feed updates.
The only way that you’re going to see a person’s IG story in your top bar is if you follow them, and if you follow them, that means you’ll also see their regular posts within your feed as well. Annoying much? 😒 If you’ve attended our training sessions, we’ve been telling you NOT to post the same content to feed and Stories… because… a) boring and b) algorithm! Instagram wants you to create your own content, native content, for the platform. If you’re sharing TikTok 📹 videos, it will work against you. Insta wants original content, using their tools only.
To improve the Stories experience, Insta is reducing the reach of re-shared feed posts. We’ll let you know if and when this test for certain users is rolled out in any great length.

Google’s Chrome is ditching the 3rd party cookie, 🍪 but before you celebrate your new-found privacy, do you know what it really means? For most people, the change will be invisible, but behind the scenes, Google is planning to put Chrome in control of some of the advertising process. To do this it plans to use browser-based machine learning to log your browsing history and lump people into groups alongside others with similar interests.
