Kinship Farms is rooted in the methodology of Agro-ecology – a holistic and integrated approach that applies ecological and social principles to the design and management of sustainable agriculture and food systems. It’s big picture stuff that is helping with Australia’s food security and future proofing commercial farming practices.

Banter was tasked with creating a holistic new brand and website from the ground up that embodies the values of this visionary and important agri-tech venture.

The Banter team were excited to work with such an important organisation and dived head first into the branding. The logotype is a customised typeface with a timeless, humanist and trustworthy quality. The brandmark combines the letter “K” and letter “F” from the name in an arrangement based on the flow and relationships involved in regenerative farming. This idea is carried on throughout the brand, with the continuation of the circle shape used as an evolving building block in the design system. A muted colour palette is contrasted with a rich blue-grey to provide both technology and natural references.
